I can confidently say that the Aicok slow juicer is the best slow masticating juicer for those not wanting to spend a fortune. I promised that I would be able to find a safe, reliable and cheap juicer for any family, here it is!

Higher costs sometimes lead to superior products, but this is a perfectly high-quality juicer that will not break the bank.

It may not be quite as elaborate as some of the other juicers that I review. However, if a reasonable price is your priority, and you are shopping at the lower end of the price scale, this is the product for you.

It comes in a striking shade of black that will make a bold statement for your kitchen. Standing at 13.8 x 11.1 x 9.8″ and weighing a little over 9 lbs., it’s also not difficult to move if you decide to redecorate.

This is a slow masticating juicer, which means the auger will spin at the steady pace of 80 RPM, at a very low and quiet volume. This means that even though the appliance is not as expensive as some competitors, it will still produce high-quality, nutrient-dense juices. Patience is rewarded to anybody making use of this juicer, as you’ll be sipping a delicious drink straight from the device with very little foam to contend with!

These additions are all very welcome, but the real selling point of the Slowstar is that super-slow motor. Some slow juicers find this snail-like pace problematic, and I found that other devices that move at a similar rate offer a lumpy, unappealing juice filled with chunks and pulp. This device avoids this problem by using an auger described as a Duoblade – a double-edged slicer that does twice as work in half the time, ensuring that the slow 47 RPM does not compromise on juice quality.

Fruit and vegetables are also less likely to jam thanks to these twin blades, and the result is less pulp in your juice. It’s also perfect for stringy vegetables, ensuring that your kale, celery and spinach comes out ready to drink.

I had a great time with the Slowstar, and I really do recommend it to anybody that will appreciate the quiet juicing provided by this slow juicer. Like all the juicers that I’m discussing here, this device runs at a slow rate to ensure that all possible nutrients and enzymes are retained. In the case of this SKG model, the blades operate at a sweet spot between the other juicers that I have discussed, namely 43 RPMs.

This makes for a great combination of pressure and speed, as this slow juicer does a very thorough job of juicing fruit and vegetables without sacrificing goodness. This juicer provides a very high juice yield, with minimal pulp.

This vertical masticating juicer weighs around 20.5 lbs. and stands at 16.8 x 12.1 x 14.2″. It’s a stylish silver color, and the components are entirely BPA-free so there’s no need to worry about health implications. It’s that wide chute that’s the real selling point of this juicer, though. At 3″ you can get plenty of root vegetables through the chute at a time. I found that this saved a huge amount of time, both in terms of chopping the solids before juicing them and in standing over the appliance. In addition to this, the wider chute means that the juicer blocks less often. That, of course, means less cleaning for you!

The time savings is a big selling point; if there is one minor snag with this juicer it’s with how long it can perform without a break. This vertical masticating juicer will find itself struggling if used for more than ten minutes consecutively. However, the wide chute means that you can get more juicing done in those ten minutes than some competitors can offer, so it’s a fair trade. If you have a business that relies upon serving delicious juices, you’re going to want the best heavy-duty masticating juicer possible. This slow masticating model from Champion, which is aptly named, certainly outperforms all of its rivals in the commercial juicer field!

Your outlay on this juicer will be complemented by a ten-year warranty which is very welcome, and the model is available in either black or white. Just bear in mind that, if you choose a bright white juicer, you could be facing a great deal of polishing and cleaning to prevent discoloration! Thankfully cleaning the interiors of the appliance is very simple.

I have spent a lot of time discussing horizontal masticating juicers, but what is the best vertical masticating juicer? My vote goes to the C7000S, the latest model from popular manufacturer Kuvings.

The first thing that struck me about this model was the look. It’s very solid and substantial, constructed from BPA-free plastic, and the aesthetic is simple enough to match any kitchen. It even comes in three different colors – silver, white or red. This vertical juicer weighs almost 23 lbs. so it’s a little heavier than some horizontal models but it certainly will not wobble or topple on a kitchen countertop, and it stands at 17.5 x 14 x 10.8″.

This juicer comes with a warranty of ten years, which is very impressive for any electrical appliance. There are also a handful of nice additions to the package, such as the inclusion of a free 75-page recipe book. This will explain how to use some of the features of the juicer, such as how to make dessert sorbets.

This appliance was actually the first slow juicer that built a 3″ diameter chute into its design, meaning that technically other models – including my beloved SKG Slow Juicer that I consider to be the finest example of a horizontal wide chute model on the market– took a leaf from Kuvings’ book!

Once fed into the juicer, blades that run at 60 RPMs compress fruits and vegetables without comprising the health benefits found within. As always, this means that you’ll be able to enjoy plenty of fresh, nutritious juice.

This model includes a filter with five settings that allow you to choose exactly how much – or how little – pulp you’d prefer. This slow juicer can handle quite a sustained period of prolonged use without clogging too. Of course, thanks to the inclusion of a wider chute than average, you can also feed whole vegetables and fruits into the appliance without the need to chop them first which provides a time savings over some of the smaller chute masticating juicers.

Be aware, however, that the time you save chopping may be spent cleaning the appliance. This juicer is a little more challenging to clean than some other competitors, as the provided brushes barely reach the bottom of the funnel. Try using a toothbrush instead.

It also takes quite a while to take the juicer apart and to fully reassemble it after cleaning. In terms of performance though, this is the best vertical masticated juicer on the market. This may mean that you consider this extra effort to be a price worth paying! I certainly could not disagree with that assertion; Kuvings has created an excellent product here that is well worth your consideration.
